Ryan Mackiewich CPA, CA, FEA
Manager, Member Services
As a “recovering accountant” with almost three decades of experience working in accounting firms across Canada, I was excited to join the WealthCo team as our first out-of-province Senior Planner in 2022 (Vernon is home for me). In addition to being a CPA with a specialty in personal and corporate income tax, more recently I’ve been seeking a way to become more involved in family business succession. This led me to the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) program, where I obtained the FEA designation last year.

I love to help people solve problems. This started with my education in Engineering & Physics then led me down the path of becoming a tax guy. After almost 30 years of solving tax issues for clients I was looking for a more connected way to help clients with their bigger challenges. This led me to the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) program and eventually to WealthCo.

Small business - these businesses are the backbone of the Canadian economy…make that the world economy. As a tax guy, I spent years helping these small businesses and defending them from CRA audits and reviews. Tax fairness continues to be an ongoing battle. On the charitable side - I'm a sucker for animals and kids, so I contribute time and money to helping the SPCA and Unicef.
