The key focus for our Wealth Planner is working with our CPA partners in supporting, developing and fostering client relationships ensuring all aspects of their financial plans (business and personal) are supported by our team of internal and external specialists Helping clients live their best life is core to our planning philosophy.
You will support the company’s goals and objectives by:
Building plans and strategies which clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including advice on asset management, asset protection, financial management, retirement planning, business planning and estate planning.
Meeting with clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
Building relationships with CPA partner firms to assist them in Financial Planning with their clients.
Provides value-added information by introducing clients to the firm's services.
Exhibits the firm’s values of leadership, teamwork, respect, accountability, and passion.
Successful candidates will require:
A minimum of 5 years experience in financial planning
CFP Designation and Membership in the Financial Planning Association or other industry groups
Insurance licensing would be considered an asset
A CPA or CIM designation would be considered an asset
Self motivation, accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit
Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long term client relationships
Exceptional communication skills
Results oriented, accurate and reliable
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
